History

Jalina demonstrated her worth, winning the “Cowes-Dinard” in 1947 and the “Cannes - Portoferraio”.

In 1953 she won the “Giraglia”, repeated in the following two years in her own class. She won other victories at the Porto Azzurro-Anzio in 1955 and at the Ajaccio - Monaco 1957.

In 2007 she was discovered semi-abandoned in Portoferraio by the Milanese Luciano Frattini, who fell in love with her and bought her.

The restoration was completed in 2010 on the island of Elba by the brothers Stefano and Marco Bonacina, talented shipwrights who had already carried out important restorations including that of “Vistona” from 1937.
