Description

Different to the other New York 40 yachts Rugosa was built as a yawl.

She won the Bermuda Race in 1928 under the ownership of Russell Grinnell.

Later bought by Halsey Herreshoff, the grandson of NG Herreshoff, who cruised and raced her for the next 30 years.

Refitted in 2007 with structural work undertaken.
